Wayside Beach - Lake George Tips
This is a very nice public beach about 10 minutes from Lake George Village. It has good accessibility for kayaks and canoes. Next to the beach there are benches, some in the shade of trees, where you can sit and enjoy the view. There is an adjacent park where you can walk, have a picnic and play horseshoes.

Go to Papa’s on Main Street for a bite to eat or ice cream
- Starting from Lake George Village go south on Rt. 9
- Approximately 1 mile turn right onto Rt. 9N (landmark - Gooney Golf)
- Approximately 9 miles you will see the lake on your left hand side
