Cat Mountain - Lake George Tips
This 6.5 mile hike takes about three hours to complete roud trip.Most of the hike is relatively easy walking along an old logging road. A steep ascent occurs toward the end of the hike as you make your final push to the summit. The summit has a terrific 270 degree view of Lake George and the Southeastern Aidirondacks.

Take the Northway to exit 24. Follow route 11 toward Bolton Landing for about two miles. Turn right on Valley Wood Rd. Trailhead parking area is just .1 miles on the right.
