Camp Santanoni - Lake George Tips
About an hour from Lake George you will find this Adirondack Great Camp. You will have to walk or bike five miles to reach the camp and Lake Newcomb. There is no fee to tour the buildings and grounds. You may encounter the park's staff who are able to provide a tour of the facility and answer questions.
- You can pay for a wagon ride to and from the camp
- Visit the nearby Adirondack Park Visitor Interpretive Center
- Hike nearby Goodnow Mountain (3.4 miles round trip)
Driving Directions:
- Take 87 to exit 23 and go through the town of Warrensburg
- Turn left on route 28
- When you reach North Creek take 28N
- Once in Newcomb, look for the Camp Santanoni sign of the right hand side
