Mt. Jo - Lake George Tips
Mt. Jo is located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains on land owned by the Adirondack Mountain Club. It's one of the easier hikes in the High Peaks region. There are two trails that lead to the summit. The one we took was 2.3 miles round trip. Once there you will see great views of Heart Lake and the surrounding mountains.

Mount Joe is located about one and a half hours from Lake George Village. Located five miles south of Lake Placid, turn right onto the Adirondak Loj Road off Route 73, and proceed approximately five miles to the end of the road.
